Musashi-Koyama Parumu Shopping Street is one of the longest shopping streets in Japan with an arcade totaling 800 meters in length.  This place is always lively with a wide range of stores and so many shoppers.  Unlike the very individual Takeshita-dori in Harajuku or the Center Gai in Shibuya, which have become trendsetting areas of fashion and culture in Japan, this place has just ordinary stores that people in general can shop comfortably in their daily lives. That also makes this place so popular among all the broadcasting stations that they visit here to have street interviews with people or local recordings for their TV programs.
